Gabrielle Torres, MS, BCBA, IBA
I use my experience, skills, and resources to collaborate with others and study applications of behavior analysis across cultures in order to ensure that the field has representative data that is meaningful to those we serve, and applicable and accessible to practitioners all over the world.
Gabrielle Torres is originally from the island of Curacao and currently lives in the US. She has been in the field of behavior analysis for twenty years, first in the clinical world including as a clinic owner, and more recently in the training and development space. She is the founder of Find Your Balance LLC an organization that provides supervision, mentoring to professionals, and consulting to organizations in the field of behavior analysis across 20+ different countries. She also dedicates 20% of her time to volunteer at non-profit organizations. Gabi is particularly focused on increased equity and access to high quality professional development opportunities for people in the Caribbean and other countries where access to behavior analysis has been limited. She is the President for the Caribbean Association for Behavior Analysis. Gabi holds a masters in human health and behavior with a specialization in behavior analysis and a masters in mental health counseling. She is currently a doctoral student. Her research interests include mentorship, leadership development, performance management, cultural responsiveness, equity and social justice.
